Misspelling of names is very common. Be sure that the identifying information is actually about you.
The summary found in the reports lists types of accounts, quantity of accounts that are current or past due and open or closed accounts. The balance, any public records and inquiries will also be included.
You will find more detailed information in the account history area. Accounts that are not at collection agencies should be paid first. Those that are at a collection agency should be paid in full. If the agencies are will to work with you, set up payment arrangements.

Try for department store cards if the major credit card companies turn you down. It may be necessary to obtain a secured card first.
