When you look around yourself you will notice that it can’t be ordinarily normal brains that came up with what you see before you. What you see wasn’t created by a person who thought the normal way; it was done by a person who stepped out of the comfort to see things differently. Creativity isn’t exactly something you can buy from the market, it is developed over time. But people who aren’t creative are constantly trying to better themselves and this is why I’m going to give creativity coaching on how to think outside of the box.
Opening your mind and embracing the thoughts you normally shun away is the first step towards becoming creative. When you start censoring most of the things you think of your mind will lose hope of ever being liberated. Now it is this shunning that eventually blocks your natural thought processes and makes you ordinary. This shunning needs to be stopped by freeing ones thoughts and exposing them to the world. When starting you should confide in someone you know respects your opinion, this will boost your confidence.
Exposing yourself to different opinions and learning material will definitely enhance the way you think. The brain usually takes out what it is fed. Therefore, with time one should watch different movies; listen to different music and even read something new. Once your brain gets used to diversity it too will start thinking differently.
Play games with children and observe the things they do. But don’t just sit and watch, you have to participate and learn to see things the way they see them. Children have a powerful imagination; a lot can be learned from kids.
Hanging around creative people will surely develop the way you present your ideas and how you think. Characteristics are contagious things and you definitely won’t fail if you try hard enough.
Keep a note pad and pen with you wherever you go. There will always be situations when you think of a brilliant idea that later slips from your head; it’s best to be prepared. Even the most creative of people move around with devices for capturing innovative ideas.
