This person really just talks about common sense.
For those struggling to actually trying to get an interview, it is actually easy. All you must do is try and seperate yourself from the field. This can be done through networking or utilising many sources on the internet. Just as a starting point anyway.
Apparently over 60% of jobs/employees are found through sites like LinkedIn
if you don’t answer the personal questions and say stuff like “i’d rather focus on the job.” they are obviously gonna get a bit annoyed and won’t give you the job?!

Not if a woman is doing the interviewing. Even if the pretty blonde was educated, she might lose out on that opportunity because the interviewing woman is jealous of the young pretty blonde’s looks. It just all depends on who is conducting the interview.

I agree nowadays it seems like people hire who they like regardless of all the so called rules and order of hiring.

i have one tomorrow, ive done tons of interviews and im good at them but it really does depend all on the interviewer…

@Jreythe2nd They are not as bad as you think they’ll be. It’s just the build up to them that’s bad. I know, a lot of people say that.. but that’s because it’s true. Once you’re in the room with the interviewer, just relax and be polite and you’ll find the time goes by very quickly.

Why do people go through so much trouble to get cleaned up and then put grease on their hair? Besides that, suits look really stupid and uncomfortable. They are not nice either, in fact, I can buy a suit for cheaper than I could any regular type of outfit. I used to cater so I should know, my whole outfit including shoes and socks was about 30 bucks. Pants $8, shirt $5, , shoes $15, socks $2. That’s usually why homeless people have dirty suits btw. Walmart/dollar store/payless.
